over the edge of the fabric to create the shell eect.
Rampart (Fig. B) For at joining seams, sewing on elastic, visible hems.
This stitch can be used for rm, thicker fabrics.
Bridging (Fig. C) For seams, place mats, tablecloths.
Decorative joining seam for a fagoted eect. Gathering with cord or shirring elastic.
