OPERATION
GENERAL


NEVER operate the heating elements without being certain the water

FILLING THE WATER HEATER

1. Turn off the electrical disconnect switch.
2. Turn off pilot toggle switch.
 
4. Open a nearby hot water faucet to allow the air in the system to escape.

INITIAL START UP
The following checks should be made by the installer when the water

DRAINING THE WATER HEATER

1. Turn off the electrical supply to the water heater at the circuit
breaker or disconnect switch.
2. Turn off the pilot toggle switch on the water heater.
3. Ensure the cold water inlet valve is open.
4. Open a nearby hot water faucet and let the water run until the
water is no longer hot.
 
