ROLLED HEM 2
Select 9 and set up the machine.
The needle and lower looper threads form a stitch that
rolls the fabric before encasing the edge.
Common Uses
• Since there are only 2 threads, the result is lighter
and finer than Rolled Hem 3. This is suitable for
lightweight fabrics like chiffon and bridal veiling
edging.
Thread in the following sequence:
1 Green thread path for lower looper
2 Yellow-1 thread path for L needle
(See pages 44-45 for detailed threading route.)
STRETCH WRAPPED
Select 10 and set up the machine.
A stretch stitch that uses two needles and the lower
looper. This stitch provides maximum stretch; the
second needle thread increases the stitch’s durability.
Common Uses
• Garment construction on exercise and swimwear.
Thread in the following sequence:
1 Green thread path for lower looper
2 Yellow-1 thread path for L needle
3 Blue thread path for R needle
(See pages 44-45 for detailed threading route.)
