Ⅺ Dust Cup and Filter(s) Ⅺ Empty the dust cup. Hint: If picking up fine dust, the dust
floor. cup may not look full, but a fine substance tends to
reduce suction when it blocks the airflow through the dust
cup and filter(s). Make sure the dust cup is installed
properly. Make sure dust cup platform is engaged
properly.
Ⅺ Belt Ⅺ Replace a cut, broken or out of shape belt.
Ⅺ Brush Roll Ⅺ Clean hair and thread from bristles and end cap area.
Replace brush roll if bristles are worn.
Ⅺ Hose Ⅺ Remove any clogs from the hose that restrict the airflow.
Ⅺ Brush Roll Control Ⅺ For carpet cleaning make sure brush roll control lever is
in carpet position.
Ⅺ Cleaner Height Setting Ⅺ For hard floor cleaning, make sure hardfloor/carpet lever
is in hard floor position.
No suction at the end of the
Ⅺ Dust Cup and Filter(s) Ⅺ Empty the dust cup. Hint: If picking up fine dust, the

Ⅺ Cleaner Height Setting Ⅺ Turn height adjustment knob to a higher position. Hint:
Put handle in operating position. Tilt the cleaner back to
raise the front wheels off floor. Then turn the knob.

Ⅺ New carpet fibers. Ⅺ Over time loose new carpet fibers will diminish and will
go off. not trip the dirt alert sensors.

Ⅺ Sensors are not working. Ⅺ Call 1-800-282-2886 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (CST) Monday -
red lights will not come on. Friday and 10 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. (CST) Saturday for the
nearest authorized Eureka service center.
Cleaner height knob will not
Ⅺ Cleaner Height Setting Ⅺ Hint: Put handle in operating position. Tilt the cleaner
turn. back to raise the front wheels off floor. Then turn the knob.
