Errorcodes,or“E‐Codes,”arealphanumericcodesthatwillappearintheHeatRangeand
BlowerSpeedwindowsoftheControlBoardiftheunitexperiencesanabnormalcondition.
Errorcodesarethecontrolboard’swayoftellingtheuserthatsomethingisn’toperating
correctlywithinthestove,andthattheunitshouldbecarefullyinspectedbeforereigniting.See
the“Trouble‐ShootingGuide,”page30,foradditionalinformationonerrorcodes.

Whenthisisdisplayedinthecontrolboardwindows(typicallywhenrestartingafter
an“E‐Code”shutdown),itmeanstherearecurrentlynoerrorsandthestovewill
beginnormaloperation.

Thiserrorcodeisnotusedonthisstove.Ifitisdisplayedinthecontrolboard
windows,pleasecontactTechnicalSupportandtheywilldiagnosethecauseofthe
falsecode.

Whenthiscodeisdisplayedinthecontrolboardwindowitindicatesafailureto
light.Althoughthestovemayhaveignitedthepellets,thecontrolboarddidnot
registerahighenoughtemperaturetodeterminethefirewaslit.Ifafirewas
ignited,waitfortheunittocool,cleantheburnpotandrestarttheunit.

Thiserrorcodeindicatesthepresetmaximumallowableexhausttemperaturewas
exceeded.Commonlyreferredtoas“Over‐Firing,”theE‐3codemeanssomethingin
thestoveiscausingtheexhaustgastobehotterthanexpected.

Thiscodeisdisplayedbasedonadropintheexhausttemperature.Thiscodemeans
thefireor“proofofflame”hasbeenlost.Itusuallyresultsfromthehopperbeing
empty.
