5. Dirt container & filter:
removal & replacement
WARNING: to reduce riskof injuryfrom moving
parts - unplugbefore servicing.
Press dirtcontainer release button andremove dirt
container from cleaner.
Hold dirt container insiderubbish bin (Fig.5/2)and press
bin release empty button to empty (Fig.5/2).Tap the dirt
container onthe inside of rubbishbin to remove excess
dust.
Remove foam filter
Presstabonbottomoffoamfiltercoverandpull toremove.
Clean foam filter
Separate thefilter assemblyby removing thefoam filter
from itsplastic housing.Tapthe foam filter onthe inside
of arubbish bin to remove excessdust and dirtfrom filter.
Wash foam filter
Hold foam filter under
running water towash. Ring
excess water outof filter.
Allow filter todry for at
least 24hours before
replacing infilter cartridge.
Replace foam filter
Return foam filter to cleanerand snap into place. Replace
foam filter cover and snapinto placeto secure (Fig.5/6).
