Standard Schlage Product Terms and Conditions
Price Book 70A

This price list supersedes and cancels all previous price lists. Prices shown are subject to change without notice. All
prices may be subject to discount. Products considered “Specials” (“X” designated part numbers) fall outside of
standard discount terms. Contact Customer Service for clarification.
Minimum Order Size for Channel Discount:
All orders less than $500.00 list shall be discounted at book net.
Claims and Returns: Claims and Returns:
Commercial
The following specific product terms and conditions are applicable only to the extent provided herein. All other terms and conditions
contained in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Service provided in this Price Book will govern the sale of products
identified in this Price Book.
Due to Schlage error:
Claims for shortages and/or incorrectly filled orders must be filed with
Customer Service within 30-days of receipt of material.
Incorrect order acknowledgments must be changed by faxing request to
Customer Service @ (800) 452-0665 upon receipt of acknowledgment.
Invoice adjustments must be faxed to Credit Adjustments @ (317) 810-3048
within 30-days of receipt of invoice.
Returned goods will not be accepted without prior written approval from
Schlage. Credit will be based upon the Return Material Authorization (RMA)
issued by Customer Service or the
Ingersoll Rand
Security & Safety
Consultant and final acceptance by Schlage. Returns must be prominently
marked with the RMA number and follow return guidelines on the RMA
form. Return freight cost is prepaid by the customer and reimbursed at UPS
ground rate.
Product considered being defective after review by the
Ingersoll Rand
Security & Safety Consultant must be returned to the Schlage Lock Company
facility in Security, Colorado accompanied by an RMA. Replacement orders
for defective product will be entered by Customer Service at the time of
notification.
Due to Customer error:
It is the policy of the Schlage Lock Company
to not accept returns of any materials that are
correctly furnished as per the dealer’s purchase
order.
Return of product due to customer order error
or accommodation must be pre-arranged with
the
Ingersoll Rand
Security & Safety
Consultant and approved by Business Unit
Manager.
Returns are subject to a minimum restocking
charge of 35% for unopened cases of stock
product.
Non-stock materials are not returnable.
Product must be received in original factory
condition and certified as such by Schlage
Receiving.
No return freight charges will be credited.
Freight Policy:
Customer orders in excess of $8,000 list will be shipped freight prepaid by Schlage to a single destination point in the U.S. Orders less
than this amount will ship UPS/RPS prepaid and actual freight will be indicated on the customer’
s invoice. All goods are shipped F.O.B.
factory or DSC and become the customer’s property when they pass into the hands of the transportation company. Schlage reserves the
right to use our choice of carrier. Schlage will ship as requested, freight collect, if the customer is willing to bear the entire expense and so
indicates on the order. Other delivery options include Next Day, 2-day, and 3-day shipping.
Under no circumstances is Schlage liable for incidental or consequential damages. Charge-backs will not be allowed.
