If you plan to be away from home, conserve energy by switching the booster switch “OFF”. It is not
necessary to switch off the electrical supply at the power outlet to the solar control unit. Refer to
“To
Turn Off The Water Heater”
on page 6. Also if the system is not used for a period in excess of
two (2) weeks it is recommended the solar collectors be covered.
