Filter maintenance
When any of the lters has to be replaced, the speed light under the lter
number concerned and the ‘REPLACE FILTER’ light start to ash. You then
have to replace this lter.
To ensure that the lters are in optimal condition when the appliance
is operating, the appliance is equipped with a lock system. If you do not
replace lter 2, lters 3/4 and/or lters 5/6 for a period of time, the
appliance is locked. When the appliance is locked, it does not operate
and the speed light under the lter number concerned and the REPLACE
FILTER light light up continuously.
Approximately 1 day before the appliance locks, it beeps every 30 minutes
to inform you that one of the lters needs to be replaced.
Thetimebetweentheashinglightsandtheappliancebeinglocked
depends on the usage of the appliance. Normally this period is
about2weeks.Incaseofveryfrequentuse,thisperiodwillbe
shorter.Thereforeweadviseyoutomakesureyouobtainanewlteras
soonasyouseethelightsashing.
Filter replacement indication
Filter 2: Multi-care lter
- When the speed light under lter number 2 and the REPLACE FILTER
light ash, you have to replace lter 2 (multi-care lter).
- If you do not replace lter 2 within approximately 2 weeks, the
appliance locks and cannot be operated.
Filters 3/4: Activated carbon lter and HEPA lter
- When the speed light under lter number 3/4 and the REPLACE
FILTER light ash, you have to replace both lter 3 (activated
carbon lter) and lter 4 (HEPA lter).
- If you do not replace lters 3/4 after approximately 2 weeks, the
appliance locks and you cannot operate it.
Filters 5/6: Humidication lter and water softener
- When the speed light under lter number 5/6 ash and the
REPLACE FILTER light ash, you have to replace both lter 5
(humidication lter) and lter 6 (water softener).
- If you do not replace lter 5 and 6 after approximately 2 weeks, the
appliance locks and you cannot operate it.
