FULL ONE YEARWARRANTY ON WATER HEATER
For one year from the date of purchase, when your Sears Kenmo_ water heater is installed and operated in asingle-family residence in
accordance with the instructions in this manual, Sears will:
1. Repairdefects in material orworkmanship in this water heater, free of charge.
2. Furnishand install a new current model water heater of equal capacity and quality, freeof charge, ifa ieak occursin the tank.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON TANKSTHAT LEAK
After one year and through 9 years from the date of purchase for water heaters used in a single-family residence, if aleak occursin the
tank, Sears will furnish a new current model water heater of equal capacity and quality. You will be charged for anyinstallation.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON PARTS
After one year and through 9 years from the date of purchase, when your Sears Kenmore water heater is used in asingle-family residence
and is installed and operated in accordancewith the information in this manual, ifa part failsdue to a materials orworkmanship, Sears
will fi_rnish a replacement free of charge. You will be charged for labor.
If the water heater is subjected to commercial, institutional, industrial or use in residences of two families or more, the abovewarranty
coverage for tanks that leak is effective for 2 years from the date of purchase and the above parts warranty is effective for I year from the
date of purchase.

use in the United States."
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rightswhich vary from state to state.

tices. Further,all installations shall comply with all local laws, codes
regulationsandordinances.The customer shall alsobe protected,dur-
ing installation, by insurance relating to property damage, Workers
CompensationandPublicLiability.
