TOXIC FLUID HAZARD
Hazardous fluids or toxic fumes can cause serious injury or death if splashed in the eyes or on the
skin, inhaled, or swallowed.
D Know t he specific hazards of the fluid you are using.
D Store hazardous fluid i n an approved container. Dispose o f hazardous fluid according to all local,
state and national guidelines.
D Always wear protective eyewear, gloves, clothing, and respirator as recommended by the fluid
and solvent manufacturer.
SKIN INJECTION HAZARD
Fluid from the dispensing valve, leaks, or ruptured components can inject fluid into your body and
cause extre mely serious injury, including the need for amputation. Fluid s plashed in the eyes or o n
the skin can also cause s erious injury.
D If a f luid injection i njury o ccurs, get immediate surgical treatment. Do not treat as a simple
cut. Tell the doctor exactly what fluid was injected.
D Do not point the dispensing valve at anyone or at any part of the body.
D Do not put your hand or fingers over the end of the dispensing valve.
D Do not stop or deflect leaks with y our hand, body, glove, or r ag.
D Use only extensions and no-drip tips that are designed for use with y our dis pensing v alve.
D Do not use a l ow pressure flexible nozzle with this equipm ent.
D Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure on page 8 if the dis pensing valve clogs before you
clean, check, or service the equipment.
D Ti ghten all fluid connections before you operate the equipment.
D Check the hoses, tubes, and couplings daily. Replace worn o r dam aged parts immediately. Do
not repair high pressure couplings; you must replace the entire hose.
