lter installed. If an accessory lter holder is to be
used, you MUST remove the factory shipped lter
from the chassis. Do NOT use two lters

There are three Indoor Return Air Grille options as shown in Figure 9. Choose the option that best suits your needs. Use the installation
instructions provided with accessories for installation details.

A eld-supplied (25" x 20") lter is
mounted inside the hinged access door.

A. These are the Friedrich recommended return air grille / lter / access panel arrangements. Consult the factory on other
arrangements. Improper return air arrangements will cause performance problems.
B. Return air arrangements are shown from the front, but can also be installed from the right or left side of the unit.
