FRAMING
1. Frame appliance enclosure as illustrated
in Figures 7 and 8.
Note: If a wall covering is used to line
enclosure, then all measurements must
be from surface of covering.
2. Place appliance into framing and se-
cure.
Note: If appliance is to be raised above
oor level, a platform must be built to
support appliance.
3. Install supply line to appliance using a 1/2"
NPT black iron gas line terminating 2

above bottom of appliance. The gas line
must be installed through lower left side
access point or alternate access hole in
the bottom of appliance (see Figure 19,
page 13).
4. Repack insulation around gas line to cover
any remaining openings in conduit sleeve.
Prepare incoming gas line with teflon
tape or pipe joint compound and hook up
incoming gas line to exible gas line.
Note: If 1/2" NPT black iron pipe does not
mate with tting at the end of exible gas
line, remove tting and replace with a 37
degree are 3/4"-12, 1/2" NPT (female)
tting.
WARNING:When nishing
appliance,donotoverlapcom-
bustiblematerialontotheblack
front face. Brick, tile or other
noncombustiblematerialsmay
beappliedtothefaceprovided
that any gap is between the
material used and the face is
caulkedwithanoncombustible
caulking.
