TROUBLESHOOTING
This appliance was inspected thoroughly and was in good operating condition when it
was shipped from the factory. If a minor problem occurs, it usually can be solved quite
easily when the cause is found. Therefore, this checklist is provided for your
convenience.

3. Remove obstruction.
4. Remove power nozzle base plate and
remove obstruction.
5. Remove obstruction.
6. Replace belt.
7. Push hose in securely at both ends.
8. Clean/change filters and filter frame.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Motor Thermostat
IMPORTANT: This unit is equipped
with a motor protective thermostat. If
for some reason the vacuum cleaner
should overheat, the thermostat will
automatically turn the unit off. Should
this occur:
Push the On/Off pedal once.
Disconnect the plug from the power
source.
Find the source of the overheating
problem. (i.e. clogged hose or dirty
filter)
If clogged hose or dirty filter is
found, unclog the hose and/or clean
or replace the filter.
Wait at least 45 minutes before
attempting to reuse the vacuum.
After unit has cooled down for 45
minutes, plug in the cleaner and
press on the On/Off pedal. The
vacuum should start again. If the
vacuum still does not start, or if the
thermostat switches off the unit
again contact customer service at
1 (800) 798-7398.

Please Note:
The dust cup screen and pre-motor filter are washable. We recommend washing
the pre-motor filter once every three months or when suction appears to be
reduced. DO NOT wash in the dishwasher.
The pre-motor filter should however be replaced once every year depending on the
amount of use, to ensure peak performance of your vacuum.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure that ALL washable filters and the pre-motor filter frame are completely
dry before inserting back in the vacuum. Allow the pre-motor filter and pre-motor
filter frame to air dry for 24 hours. DO NOT DRY IN THE DRYER.
