Keep the air hose as short and free of cur-
ves as possible to avoid bottlenecks.
Air-conditioning with installation
If required, your appliance can be installed semi-
permanently(Fig.7).
Proceedasfollows:
• Drilla 5.27 inch(134 mm) dia.hole in an
outside wall or through a window pane, re-
spectingtheheightsshowning.8.
• Fittheangeaccessory(S)providedinthe
holefollowingthe indicationsings. 9,10
and 11.

• Fittheairexhausthose(K)inthehousingat
thebackoftheappliance(g.1).
• Fittheendofthehosetotheange(S).
Whenthehoseisnottted,theholecanbe
closed with the flange cap.
• Removethecapatthebackoftheappliance
(G)andreplacewiththedrainhosepluscap
(U)asshowningure12.Thisenablesthe
condensate to be drained more easily at the
endoftheseason.Seethesection:“ENDOF
SEASONOPERATIONS”.

When installing the air conditioner semi-
permanently, you should leave a door slightly
open, as little as 0.5 inch (1 cm), to guarantee
correct ventilation.

• If the windows are large, use the window
bracket without holes (V) (if provided) to co-
ver your window aperture, extending it to the
required length, then blocking it with the lo-
ckingpinssupplied(seegure6).Makesure
you do not cover the hole for the window
outlet.
