For a door with no i L Carriage Bolt
exposed lramlng or for 5/16"-18x2-1/2"
the optional Installation,
use 5/16"x1-1/2' lag
screws(notprovided)
Center the bracket on the top of the door, in line
with the header bracket as shown. Mark holes.
Drill 5/16" pilot holes and fasten the door bracket
with hardware supplied.
If the door has no exposed framing, drill 3/16" pilot
holes and fasten the bracket with 5/16"xl-1/2" lag
screws (not provided) to the top of the door.
The door bracket may be installed on the top
edge of the door if required for your installation.
(Refer to the dotted line optional placement
drawing.) Drill 3/16" pilot holes and substitute
5/16"x1-1/2" lag screws (not provided) to fasten
the bracket to the door.
