Troubleshooting Steps
Problem: Possible Cause: Remedy:
Pilot Will Not Flame
A gas shut off valve is turned off......................
The gas control knob isn’t turned to “PILOT”.......
The valve control knob isn’t pushed in...............
The igniter wasn’t pressed repeatedly ...............
No spark from igniter......................................
Check all gas shut off valves

Main Burners Will Not
Start
The pilot flame has gone out............................
The gas control valve is turned to “PILOT” or “OFF”
The ON/OFF switch is turned to “OFF” ...............
The remote control is not working correctly.........
The thermostat is disconnected or set too high ...

Replace the batteries
Set the thermostat to a lower
temperature

Not Work
