Model 1166 and 1156 with or without Model 1176 expanders can be controlled via RS-232 from a PC or

General Commands
These commands can be used at any time during operation of the 1166 to change the state of selected
settings.

N- Turn AutoSelect Off
N+ Turn AutoSelect On
P Select Professional screen
R Select Residential screen
Q- Unlock AutoSelect
Q+ Lockout AutoSelect
V- Unlock front panel controls
V+ Lock front panel controls
W- Unlock front panel optical IR receiver
W+ Lockout front panel optical IR receiver
Y- Disable display blanking
Y+ Enable display blanking

Source Selection Commands
Assign or change input sources to the 1166 Main Output, any individual Wallplate output, zone groups of
Wallplates, or all Wallplates. In the “Command” column below, actual commands are shown in upper case,
and variables are represented by lower case bold characters (commands are not case-sensitive).
