Many of the steps to set up WinCHAP for a DSL verification measurement are
the same for both coupler and real-ear measurements. These steps are described
in Section 6.3.1. The actual measurement process is described in Section 6.3.2.

6.3.1 Setting up
1. Click Settings and choose the General tab.
2. Select the Hearing Aid Style
, Transducer, Loud Speaker Orientation, and
Compression Threshold
.
3. Choose the DSL Settings tab.
4. Select the appropriate Circuit Type. Choose between Linear, WDRC
Fixed, and WDRC Variable
.
5. Select the desired HL to SPL Transform. This affects how the threshold
values are converted into SPL.
6. Select whether you want to use a
Measured or Average RE to 2cc
Transform in creating the coupler targets. If you choose
Measured, you
will have to perform the RECD measurement in the Audiometry window.
