2. Select the printer you want to monitor from the Installed

Printers list, and then click

Monitoring Preferences

on the

Settings menu. The dialog box below appears.

Monitoring Interval

You can adjust the monitoring interval by dragging the

slider.

Note:

Setting a short monitoring interval may slow down some

applications.

Background Monitoring

If this is turned on, the Status Alert dialog box appears

automatically while you are using some application

programs. You can specify when the Alert dialog box

appears using the Status Alert options on the right.

You can select when you want the Status Alert dialog

box to appear.
