1. Installation and servicing should be done by qualified service personnel only and
conform to all local codes.
2. Unless the unit meets NEMA Type 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, or 6P standards, it is designed
for indoor use only and must not be installed where exposed to rain and moisture.
3. Only use replacement parts Pelco recommends.
4. After replacing/repairing this unit’s electrical components, conduct a resistance
measurement between line and exposed parts to verify the exposed parts have not
been connected to line circuitry.

DESCRIPTION
OVERVIEW
The CM9760 master distribution amplifier (CM9760-MDA), version 2.05 or higher, is a
16-channel video distribution amplifier that distributes video to multiple devices without
image degradation. As illustrated in Figure 1, each of the 16 channels (video inputs) has
four independent video outputs. Each of the video outputs can be connected to any of the
following devices:
Monitor
•Video printer
•Video cassette recorder (VCR)
Digital video recorder (DVR)
Multiplexer
Matrix switcher
