When to change the thread
lifters
Check the thread lifters on the suction
inlet of the standard floorhead * and the
upholstery nozzle from time to time. Re
-
place them if the pile is worn.

To replace the thread lifters
^ Use a knife or similar object to re-
move them from the slots.
^ Fit the new thread lifters.
If threads or hair have wound round
the roller pin on a standard floorhead
a Use a coin to release the roller pin
(bayonet connection), and pull out
the pin.
b Take out the roller.
Remove all threads and hair etc., then
replace the individual parts in the right
order.
