PRE-FILTER CLEANING
The pre-filter is located inside the dust
bin. Check the pre-filter frequently and
clean when dirty.
NOTE: If necessary, the pre-filter can be
removed to be cleaned with water.
1. Remove the dust bin as outlined in the
DUST BIN EMPTYING section. Refer to
page 17.
2. Rotate dust bin
lid from lock to
unlock position.
3.Separate dust bin lid
by pulling down and
lift off.
4. Remove
retaining ring
by turning in
direction as
indicated by
arrow.
5. Remove pre-
filter by sliding
downward,
6. Clean pre-fitter
by gently tapping
over a trash
container. Tap on
several sides to
ensure best
cleaning.
Pre-Filter
7. Rinse with cold water only, DO NOT
use detergent or soap. Allow parts to dry
24 hours before putting back into vacuum
cleaner.
DO NOT wash pre=filter in the
dishwasher.
DO NOT install parts damp.
TO REPLACE PRE-FILTER
I. Slide pre-
filter upward
onto dust bin
lid body. Align
large tab with
large slot,
2. Slide
retaining ring
into position.

Rotate as
indicated by
arrow.

3. Replace the lower
portion of the dust bin
by aligning marks as
UNLOCKED.
4. Rotate until marks
align as LOCKED.
5. Replace the dust bin
as outlined in the
Replace Dust Bin
section. Refer to page
17.
