CLOG REMOVAL
WARNING
Electrical Shock And Personal Injury Hazard
Disconnect electrical supply before performing maintenance to the vacuum cleaner.
Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or personal injury from vacuum cleaner
suddenly starting.
CLOG REMOVAL FLOOR/TOOLS
SELECTOR VALVE
1. Remove
valve selector
cover ring by
squeezing two
(2) release
tabs and
pulling toward
you.
2. Grasp valve
knob and pull
toward you.
Valve
3. Clean and
remove any
lint or debris
from inside
floor/tools
selector valve
and lower
hose.
4. Remove Lower j,f_F__f_----_
Hose from Selector
Valve by
squeezing Hose in
area shown and
moving side to side
while pulling.
NOTE: Hose is
flexible and may
collasp while squeezing. This is normal
and does not damage it.
5. Clean Lower
Hose and Selector
Valve as
necessary.
Replace Lower
Hose on to
Selector Valve.
Make sure Lower
Hose is fully
inserted.
6. Insert valve
knob into
opening. Align to
position shown
and push inward
until it seats.
7. Replace valve
selector cover
ring by aligning
tabs and pushing
inward until it
clicks.
