This appliance is for household use
only and may be plugged into any
120-volt AC electrical outlet (or-
dinary household current). DO NOT
use any other type of outlet.
The power cord has a grounded plug
as shown in Figure 1A. The fan must
be plugged into an electrical outlet
that can accommodate the ground-
ing pin. If your electrical outlet can
not accommodate the grounding
pin, then you must purchase and in-
stall one of the two types of adapt-
ers shown in Figure 1B.

If this fan is to be used outdoors
or in a damp or wet location, then
it must be plugged into a Ground
Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) re-
ceptacle.

fan with any solid-state speed
control device.
When the fan is used outdoors or in
a damp or wet location, it must be
plugged into a Ground Fault Circuit
Interruptor (GFCI) receptacle. See
Figure 1C.
