Gas Information
A. Fuel Conversions
Before making gas connections ensure that the appliance
being installed is compatible with the available gas type.
Any natural or propane gas conversions necessary to meet
the appliance and locality needs must be made by a quali ed
technician using Hearth & Home Technologies speci ed and
approved parts.
1. Converting to LP Gas
KIT CONTENTS: Replacement ori ce; replacement
pilot injector; valve regulator; conversion label.
TOOLS REQUIRED: Power drill (a 90° handle is help-
ful); #2 Phillips bit; 7/16” wrench,. slotted screwdriver
or Torx TH20, 5/32 in. Allen wrench, 5/8 in. open end
wrench,

the two screws, one on
each side of burner. Retain fasteners
for reinstallation. Lift burner up and out of the rebox.
Remove front (if installed), glass, and logs (if installed.)
Figure 6.2 Using the #2 Phillips screwdriver remove the two
(2) 1/4" x 20 screws securing the burner as indicated. Lift
burner out of rebox.
NOTE: Gas conversions should only be performed
by a qualified service person, and/or where required
by state and local codes, licensed installer/service
technician. In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
installation must be performed by a licensed plumber
or gas fitter.
Slide the burner neck support to the left.
