THE REMOTE CONTROL
Inserting/replacing batteries (included)
• Remove the back cover (see figure).
• Insert two new batteries (not rechargea-
ble) making sure the (+) and (-) are in the
correct positions.
• Replace the back cover.
Note: Alkaline batteries should be used (LR03
AAA type).
Used batteries can be harmful to the envi-
ronment, and should not be thrown out with
household waste. Contact your local
government to find out if they have a bat-
tery recycling program or how to dispose
of used batteries.
Warning:
Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix
alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechar-
geable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
Do not dispose of batteries in fire: batteries
may explode or leak.
If the remote control is not be used for a cer-
tain length of time, remove the batteries.
CORRECT USE
• Aim the remote control at the signal recei-
ver on the air-conditioner.
• Maximum distance: around 23 ft. (7
meters) (without obstacles between the
remote control and the receiver).
• The remote control should be handled
with extreme care: without dropping it,
without exposing it to direct sunlight or
near sources of heat.

Depending on the model, the temperature on the display is shown in °C or °F. However, the illu-
strations in the manual give the values in °F.
