FREESTANDING PEDESTAL
INSTALLATION
(1) Lay the heater on its back (use a drop-cloth to protect the back of the heater and the surface
of your flooring). Place pedestal against bottom of heater. Center pedestal from left to right
and from front to rear. Mark the holes on the angle on the top of the pedestal. Lay the
pedestal aside. Drill the marks. Replace the pedestal and secure with the provided screws.
(2) Stand heater to the upright position. Place heater in the desired location. At this point you
may want to secure the pedestal to the floor with screws or an “ell” bracket.
(3) Hook up gas supply line. Check for leaks with mild soapy water. See page 5, Installation
Clearances and Gas Connection.
