9-11. Adjusting the needle up stop position
The needle up stop position is adjusted so that the index
mark (2) on the machine pulley (1) is inside the mark (4)
on the belt cover (3).
If adjustment is necessary, loosen the screw (5) at the "U"
mark of the machine pulley (1) and adjust the position of
the machine pulley (1). The machine pulley (1) stops later
if it is turned clockwise, and it stops earlier if it is turned
counterclockwise.
Note
The screw (6) is used by the needle down
detection function and should not be loosened.
The screw (7) is a screw for detecting the machine
stop position, and should not be loosened.
If the index mark (2) is not inside the mark (4) when
be displayed (when memory switch No.14 is on).
Turn the machine pulley to move the index mark
(2) to the correct position and then start the sewing
machine.
