Vacuum cleaner won’t run

Power cord not plugged in Check electrical plug
Blown fuse/tripped breaker Check/Replace fuse or
reset breaker
Vacuum cleaner won’t pick up dirt
Possible Causes Remedies
Incorrect Height Adjustment Adjust Powerfoot to correct
height setting
Hose not attached to suction opening Grasp Quick Reach Handle and
firmly push Hose Wand onto the
suction opening
Twist ‘n Snap Hose not securely attached Make sure Twist ‘n Snap Hose is
snapped into locked position
Crack or hole in Hose Check Hose and replace if needed
Broken or worn Drive Belt Replace Drive Belt, see pg. 10
Rotating Floor Brush bristles worn Replace brush
Rotating Floor Brush jammed Remove brush and clean debris from
brush ends
Clog in vacuum Clear clog, see pg. 11
Dirt Container full Empty Dirt Container
Dirt Container not installed properly Position correctly and lock in place
Filters are dirty Check and clean Inner and Outer
Circular Filters and Pre-Motor Filters.
Replace HEPA Post-Motor Filter
Louvers missing or installed incorrectly Check for a clog in the tube in the
center of the Dirt Container, clear
and properly install Louvers
TurboBrush is clogged or debris is wrapped Maintaining TurboBrush, see page 9
around the Brush Roll
Tools won't pick up dirt
Possible Cause Remedies
Crack or hole in Hose Check Hose and replace if needed
Clog in vacuum Clear clog, see pg. 11
