WIRING
WIRE DEHUMIDIFIER TO HVAC EQUIPMENT
• Six wires are required to connect the dehumidifier to the HVAC equipment. See Figure 10.
• Connect wires from the R, C, W, and Y terminals on the dehumidifier to the corresponding terminals on the HVAC equipment
control board.
• On the HVAC equipment control board, disconnect the G wire that comes from the thermostat and use a wire nut (not provided)
to connect the G wire from the thermostat to the G
S
wire on the dehumidifier.
• Connect the G
H
wire from the dehumidifier to the (now open) G terminal on the HVAC equipment control board. Note: the only wire
connected to the G terminal on the HVAC equipment control board should be the G
H
wire from the dehumidifier.
CAUTION
Improper wiring to the HVAC equipment could cause damage to the dehumidifier control and/or the HVAC equipment.
NOTE When installing the dehumidifier in a system with a power-stealing thermostat, the use of load resistors on
the Y and W terminals are recommended.
