What to do
Firmly plug power cord into electrical

n
Thermostat control is set at a high
enough number to cause the air
conditioner to run.
Turn System Control to a ‘Cool’ position.
Set Thermostat Control to a higher
number.

Normal operating
sounds.
You can expect to hear the following
sounds when your air conditioner is
operating:
. Droplets of water hitting the
condenser causing a ‘pinging’ or
‘clickina’ sound. Water from normal
operation or rainfall does not harm
components, so you should not be
concerned.
n
Air movement from the fan occurs
especially at high fan-speed settings.
n
Vibration sounds can be caused by
wall construction or mounting for the
air conditioner.
