ItisrecommendedthatonlyaauthorizedtechnicianinstallyourKing stove,preferablyanNFIcertiedspecialist.
Installation
IMPROPER INSTALLATION: Themanufacturerwillnotbeheldresponsiblefordamagecausedbythemalfunc-
tionofastoveduetoimproperventingorinstallation.Call(800)750-2723and/orconsultaprofessionalinstaller
ifyouhaveanyquestions.
FLOOR PROTECTION
Thisunitmustbeinstalledonanon-combustibleoorsurface.Ifaoorpadisused,itshouldbeULlistedorequal.
Theoorpadornon-combustiblesurfaceshouldbelargeenoughtoextendaminimumof6-inchesinfront,6-incheson
eachside,and1-inchbehindthestove(seeFIGURE1).
Floorprotectionmustextendunderand2-inchestoeachsideofthechimneyteeforaninteriorverticalinstallation(see
FIGURE2).
YourKing stovewillneedaminimum31”x38”oorprotector.
AFloorProtectorof1inchthickisrecommendedforthisinstallation.
