Using the Vacuum for Above Floor Cleaning
Your vacuum can be used to dust above floor areas such as
tops of furniture, upholstery, drapes, etc. When using with
the upholstery/dusting brush or with the crevice tool, you can
adjust the amount of suction by opening or closing the
manual suction control on the handle of the flexible hose.
Keep it closed for maximum suction, open it for less suction.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Using the Crevice Tool
1. Remove the telescopic tube from the
flexible hose.
2. Attach the crevice tool to the end of
the hose handle. (Fig. 15)
3. Push in until it is firmly in place.
4. To remove, just pull it off.

Upholstery

Use the upholstery brush to remove dust and pet hair from
furniture. Use the dusting brush to dust furniture, Venetian
blinds, books, lamp shades and shelves. The crevice tool
and the upholstery/dusting brush can be stored on the
accessory holder that is on the telescopic tube.
Power Cord
Your vacuum cleaner includes a power cord which is
automatically retractable. To extend your power cord, pull
from rear and extend to desired length up to the yellow mark
on the power cord. (Fig. 13) Do not pull the power cord
beyond the red mark. When vacuuming is finished, first
switch off power and disconnect plug from electrical outlet.
Hold the power plug and press on cord rewind button. If the
cord does not fully retract, pull it out again and then press on
cord rewind button.
WARNING
: Hold the plug when rewinding the cord. Do not
allow the cord to whip
when rewinding.
Note:
Before using the appliance, unwind a sufficient length
of cable and Insert the plug into the wall socket. A yellow
mark on the power cord shows the ideal cable length. Don’t
pull the power cord beyond the red mark.

Cleaning the Pet Hair Power Brush
1. Slide locking latch forward then tilt the top housing
of the brush upwards. The top housing is hinged
and will tilt up approximately 45° only. (Fig. 13)
2. Inspect turbine wheel and air passage for debris
and/or blockage. Remove debris if present.
3. Inspect the rotating bristle brush for build-up hair or
string. If present, remove by carefully cutting with
scissors. Avoid damaging or cutting the bristles or
the belt.
4. Once clean, close the top cover of the power brush
and slide the locking latch toward the rear of the
brush to lock.
Using the Upholstery Brush and the Dusting Attachment
The upholstery brush/dusting brush is two brushes in one.
1. Remove the telescopic tube from the flexible hose.
2. To use as an upholstery brush, you must remove the
dusting brush attachment by holding the dusting brush
attachment and slide it off. (Fig. 16)
3. To use the dusting attachment, hold the upholstery brush
and slide the dusting brush attachment on. (Fig. 16)
4. Then attach it to the end of the hose handle.
