Assembly before use:
• Beforeusingtheappliance,checkthatthelter
pad(3)andthelterholder(21)havebeencorrectly
ttedtothelterhousing(2)(see“Cleaningand
replacementoflter”).
• Attach the battery to the back of the handle (9).
Ensure that the lock buttons (11) click into place, so
that the battery is securely attached.
USE
• Push the on/off button (7) forward to switch on the
appliance and backward to switch it off.
• The nozzles can be attached to the nozzle tip (1) as
required:
o The crevice nozzle/the extension (12) must be
attached so that the lock tab (13) is facing down.
o When using the small brush nozzle (15) and the
crevicenozzle(16),rstattachthecrevice
nozzle/the extension.
o Ensure that the lock tab on the extension clicks
into place in the lock holes (14) of the small
nozzles.
• This appliance is specially designed to vacuum up
liquids.
o Use the special nozzle for liquids (18) to vacuum
up liquids.
o Ensure that the nozzle for liquids is attached so
that the arrow marked “TOP” is facing up on the
nozzle tip.
o The amount of liquid vacuumed up must never
exceedthemark“MAX.”(20)onthelter
housing.
o Hold the appliance in a slightly downward angle
toensuretheliquidstaysinthelterhousing,
until it is emptied.
o IMPORTANT! Should the liquid exceed the mark
“MAX.”orinanywaytouchthelter,immediately
switchofftheappliance,emptythelterhousing
andclean/drythelterpad(see“Cleaningand
replacementoflter”below).
• Toemptythelterhousingfordustorliquids,press
theopeningbutton(4)andcarefullydetachthelter
housing.Pulloutthelterandthelterholderfrom
thelterhousing,andemptyit.Cleanthelterpad,
before reattaching it (see “Cleaning and replacement
oflter”below).
• Adjust the angle of the appliance by pressing the
release button (8) and tilting the motor section and
thelterhousingtotherequiredpositions.
• If the appliance loses suction power during use, the
battery needs to be recharged.
• Lack of suction power may also be caused by
thelterbeingblockedandneedingcleaning(see
“Cleaningandreplacementoflter”below)
• If the appliance still does not have full suction power
aftercleaningorreplacingthelterpad,thenozzle
tip or the nozzle may be blocked.
• NOTE: Check cause of fault and correct. Do not use
appliance if any air holes are blocked. Permanent
motor damage can result.
Tips for vacuum cleaning
• At the back of the appliance there are some small
rubber knobs to ensure the appliance stands
securely in a vertical position.
• Each nozzle has a special purpose. Try out e.g. the
crevice nozzle, the extended nozzle (12+16) or the
smallbrushnozzleindifferentsituationstondyour
own preferences.
• The nozzle for liquids is ONLY suitable for
vacuuming liquid – when using the appliance for this
purposethisnozzlemustALWAYSbetted.
Storage
• Store in a cool dry place. Do not place heavy
objects on top of the appliance.
• NOTE: Remove the batteries from the handle if the
appliance is to be stored for an extended period.
CLEANING AND REPLACEMENT OF FILTER
IMPORTANT! If the appliance loses suction power
duringuse,thelterpadmaybedirty,andneeds
cleaning or replacing. Never use the appliance, when
thelterisdirtyorwhenithasnotbeentted.
1. Press the opening button and carefully detach the
lterhousing.
2. Pulloutthelterpadandthelterholderfromthe
lterhousing.
3. Pulloutthelterpadfromthelterholderandclean
it according to the following directions:
oShakeandbeatthelterpadcarefullytoremove
dust and dirt.
oThelterpadcanbewashedcarefullyinwarm
water.
oCheckthelterpadiscompletelydrybefore
replacing in the appliance. NEVER insert a wet
lterintotheappliance.
1. Insertthelterpadinthelterholder,andmake
surethelterpadisfullyinserted.
2. Pressthelterholderasfarintothelterhousing
asitwillgo.Thelterholdermustrestonthefour
dowelsontheinsideofthelterhousingsothatitis
sealed all the way round.
3. Attachthelterhousingtothemotorsectionsothat
theopeningbuttongripsthelterhousingandholds
it in place.
4. Whenthelterpadsarewornorcannotbeproperly
cleaned, replace them with pads of the same type.
Cleaning of the appliance
• Clean the appliance by wiping it with a cloth wrung
in tepid water. A little detergent can be added if the
appliance is heavily soiled.
• Do not use scouring pads or any form of strong
solvents or abrasive cleaning agents as they could
damage the outside of the appliance.
