seams or to decorate a finished edge on
lingerie or nightwear.
To Sew Overlapped Seams:
1. a. Overlap the raw edges of two pieces of
fabric.
b. Stitch so that the stitches pierce both
pieces of fabric on the left and right
sides.
To Make a Decorative edge:
1. Stitch close to the folded edge of your
garment with a matching or contrasting
thread to create a bold look.
