Prepare the bobbin

1. Disengage the clutch by turning the clutch
knob toward you.
2. a, Put a spool of thread on the spool pin.
b. Draw the thread from the spool through
the thread guide.
3. a. Wind the thread around the bobbin
several times in the direction of the
arrow.
b. Place the bobbin onto the bobbin
winder shaft.
4. a. Push the bobbin winder shaft to the
right until it clicks.
b. Start the machine by pressing down on
the foot control.
NOTE: The bobbin will stop turning when
it is filled.
5. a. Push the shaft to the left.
b. Remove the bobbin from the shaft and
trim the end of the thread.
6. Engage the clutch by turning the clutch
knob away from you.
