Cleaning the Cyclone
Separator
Step I
Twist lid
to
the
unlock
position
and
pull
the dirt con-
tainer bin off the
cyclonic separator.
Step
ll
The separator
should
be cleaned
with a soft brush
and wiped
with a
damp cloth.
The
dirt container
bin
may be wiped
to
clean.
Step
lll
Leave the
separator
to
dry completely
before
replacing.
IMPORTANT:
The
cyclonic
separator
should
not be
sub-
merged
in
water
Step
lV
Replace the
dirt
container
as direct-
ed,
by twisting
lid
to
the
locked
pos-
tion.
Cleaning
the
Pre-Motor
Filter
NOTE: This is located
underneath
the dirt
container bin.
Step
I
Release the
pre-
motor filter
cover
by
lifting
up the
tab.
Lift
off the
filter
cover to
gain
access to the
filter.
Remove the filter
by
pulling
the
tab
towards
you.
Step
ll
Separate the
foam
filter
from
the
fab-
ric cassette.
Each
filter can be tapped
against the side
of
a
trash
can to
remove the excess
dirt and dust.
Step
lll
The
pre-motor
filter may be
rinsed in warm
water.
Allow to air
dry
for 24 hours
before
replacing.
NOTE: Do not
use
any
detergents or
boiling
water to
wash the
filters.
For
best
perfor-
mance, the foam
filter
should
be
cleaned each
time
the dirt container is
emptied.
Step
lV
0nce completely
dry, return
the
pre-motor
filter
and cassette to the
vacuum cleaner.
Replace
the
pre-
motor filter
cover
before
restarting
the vacuum cleaner.
