The belt in your cleaner drives the agitator. It has been designed specifi-
cally for use in this cleaner and is important for effective operation.
Where to buy
The belt may be purchased from your local Authorized Hoover Dealer or
from a Hoover Factory Service Center.

How to replace
Disconnect cleaner from electri-
cal outlet.
The belt is located behind the front
cover of your cleaner and should
be checked from time to time.
Replace the belt if it is stretched or
broken.

To check belt, rotate nozzle to
vertical position.
Lift off front cover.
2. Remove the two bottom plate
screws.
