Troubleshooting
DR90/120 User Function Test
CALL FOR SERVICE.
TURN DEHUMIDISTAT
BACK TO SETTING OR
“OFF” POSITION.
CONNECT A SHORT
WIRE BETWEEN “DEHU”
AND “R” AT WIRING
TERMINAL BLOCK
DO BOTH FAN AND
COMPRESSOR
COME ON?
DO BOTH FAN AND
COMPRESSOR
COME ON?
DOES THE FAN
SOUND NORMAL?
REMOVE THE FILTER
AND FEEL THE
EVAPORATOR COIL
IS THE EVAPORATOR
COLD? (LIKE HOLDING
A COLD DRINK)
PLUG DEHUMIDIFIER
INTO OUTLET THAT
HAS POWER
DOES THE OUTLET
HAVE POWER?
NORMAL OPERATION.
TURN DEHUMIDISTAT
BACK TO SETTING OR
“OFF” POSITION.
IS THE AMOUNT OF
WATER COLLECTED
IN THE RANGE
EXPECTED?
CONDUCT A PERFORMANCE TEST:
LEAVE THE DEHUMIDISTAT ON
DR90/120 IN THE “ALWAYS ON”
POSITION AND COLLECT DRAIN
WATER FOR 24 HOURS. COMPARE
AMOUNT OF WATER COLLECTED
TO EXPECTED RANGE ABOVE.
