RemovingAshes:
Whenapproximatly1tonofpelletshasbeen
burneditwillbenecessarytoemptytheashpan.
Ashesshouldbeplacedinametalcon-
tainerwithatightfittinglid.Theclosedcon-
tainerof ashes should beplaced on anon-
combustiblefloororontheground, wellaway
fromallcombustiblematerials,pendingfinal
disposal.Ifashesaredisposedofbyburialin
soil or otherwise locally dispersed, they
should be retained in the closed container
untilallcindershavethoroughlycooled.
Itisrecommendedthatthestoveiscoldand
shutdownwhenremovingashpan.
1.Pullonlatchhandlesandremoveashpanas
shownatleft.Useashpanhandletocarry
anddisposeofashes.
2.Slidetheashpanbackintothestoveand
latchbypushinginonbothlatchessimulta-
neously.
Cleaning:
Thestovewillneedtobecleanedforapproxi-
matelyevery2to5tonsofpelletsburned.The
amountofpelletsburnedbeforecleaningwillvary
dependingonthebrandofpellets.
1.Shutdownstoveanddisconnectpower
cordtoinsurethatallmotorsarestopped.
2.Removeashpanasdescribedearlier.
3.Removecombustionblowercoverbyturning
thelatchverticalasshowninFig.26and
slidingthecoveroutoftheslotontheleft

4.Cleantheblowerwheelwithabrushanda
vacuumcleaner.
5.Useabrush(Fig.30)tocleantheflue,being
carefulnottodamagetheESPprobe.The
fluegoesstraightthroughintotheventpipe
(Fig.29)therefore,theventpipecanalsobe
cleanedtosomeextentthroughtheflue
outlet.
6.Reinstallblowercoverandrelatch.
