Be sure to always vacuum or sweep up loose dirt before
steam cleaning your floors. The Pet Plus™ does not have
any suction power.
The easiest way to use the Pet Plus™ is to tilt the handle to
a 45° angle and then push and pull the unit slowly across
each section of your floor – approximately 2 to 3 yards at a time.
To release the handle/pole in preparation for using the
Pet Plus™, simply place your foot gently on top of the main
unit and pull back. Be sure not to confuse the Burgundy Power
Button as a release for the handle.
A good amount of steam passes through the Ultra-Microfiber
Pad. We recommend that the Ultra-Microfiber Pad be
changed when it gets too wet. Your Pet Plus™ includes
2 Blue Ultra-Microfiber Pads and 2 Tan Pet Plus™ Pads.
The Pet Plus™ also includes a White Carpet Tray Pad that
is thinner and used with the Carpet Tray attachment. It is
used with the HAAN
®
Steam Scents™ to freshen and sanitize
your carpets and rugs. It is perfectly fine to continue using the
saturated Carpet Tray Pad with the tray until you have
completed your cleaning session. We do not recommend
this on hard floor surfaces with the other pads.
While the Pet Plus™ effectively cleans dirt and grime from
sealed hard-surface floors, particularly stubborn stains
on vinyl or linoleum floors may be pre-treated with a mild
detergent and a little water before using the Steam Cleaning
Floor Sanitizer.
Always let the Pet Plus™ Floor Sanitizer cool for at least
5 minutes before removing any of the cleaning pads and
emptying the Water Tank.
Never leave the Pet Plus™ in one spot on any surface for
any period of time. Always place your Pet Plus™ on the
black Floor Protector/Resting Mat (with the “bumpy” side
facing up) when stationary, and make sure the unit is
turned off when not in use.
Do NOT attempt to use the Pet Plus™ in a vertical position
(ie: to clean a tile wall) as this may cause leaking or
malfunction of the product.
