GlassCleaning
1. Becertainthestoveandtheglassarecompletelycool.
2. Thebuild‐upontheglasswillgenerallybelightandwaterisnormallysufficientto
removethedeposits.Ifstubbornsootpersists,useacleanermadespecificallyforthis
purpose.Donotscrapetheglassoruseabrasivecleaners.
3. Rinsetheglasswithcleanwateranddrytheglassbeforeresumingnormaloperation.
GlassReplacement
1. Removethedoorfromthestoveandrestitfacedownonafirmworksurface.
2. Usinga5/16”wrench,removethefourwindowbracketretainingscrews.
3. Removethetwowindowbracketsfromthedoor.Takeextracaretoavoidshardsof
glassiftheglasswindow
hasbeenbroken.
4. Lifttheoldglasspaneloutofthedoorand
discard.
5. Thenewglasspanelmustbewrappedwith
aself‐adhesivefiberglasstapegasket(AC‐
GGK).Thisgasketservestocushionthe
glassfromthecastirondoor.
6. Reinstallthewindowretainingbrackets
using
thefourscrewspreviouslyremoved.
Donotover‐tightenthescrews.
