All wiring should conform to the National Electrical Code. Install a separately fused disconnect
switch for the water heater. The water heater is equipped with an immersion aquastat with dual
bulbs to control operation of the heater and a separate high limit immersion control (both controls
are installed and wired at the factory). A wiring harness is furnished to connect the control system
to the burner control panel. Follow the wiring diagram furnished with the burner to complete the
field wiring.
When wiring is completed, set the operating temperature control (L8100C) to 120°F. Higher
temperature setting will increase the risk of scalding.
