1.When firstpluggingin theACP-1300E,
atone indicatingthat thepoweris connected
willsound. After pressingthe
"On"
button,
theunit willstart inAuto Modeanddisplay
thecurrent roomtemperature.
2.Toselectthe mode,press the"Mode"button. Thiswillthen cyclethe
ACP-1300Ethrough the"Auto," "Fan,""Cooling,"and"Dehumidify" options.
3.When adjustingthetemperature, keepin mindthattheACP-1300Eis
adjustablebetween 60 and88 F. To setthe temperature,pressthe "Temperature"
buttonuntil thedesired temperatureisdisplayed. Theair conditionerwillnow
coolthe roomto thattemperature. Afterfive secondsofsetting yourdesired
temperature,the displaywill thenrevertback todisplaying thecurrentroom
temperature.

4.To adjust the fanspeed, press the"Speed button." Thiswill allow the
ACP-1300E tocycle through the "High,""Medium,"and "Low" speed
options.

To turn off the unit,press the "Off"button. The air conditioner will
cease operationand a tone willsound.
1.For freshair,press the "FreshAir"button while the unitis running.
This willthen engage the built-inion generator.

PleaseNote:
Whilein dehumidificationmode, theunitwill automaticallyset thefanspeed to
"Low".TheACP-1300Ewill notallowfan speedadjustments, norwilladjusting
thetemperature affecttheunit's operation.
Inaddition, whilein fanmode,adjusting thetemperature willnotaffect theunit's
operation. If theACP-1300Eisin standbymode, theremotecontrol's memory
functionwill turnon. Your settingswillbe storedin theunit'smemory, andwhen
usednext, itwill operateaccordingto thelast savedsettings only thetimer
functionwill needto bereset(if youare usingthisfunction).

Setting theTimer Function:
To setthe timerfunction,press the"Timer"button andenterthe timethat
youwould likethe unittoshut down. Youwillthen havethe optionofsetting
thetime forthe unittoresume function(ranging fromhalfan hourto 12hours,
inhalf hourincrements). You canalsoexit thetimer function atthat time.
Whilethe unitis instandbymode, youcan alsosetthe operationtimes by
pressingthe "Timer" button. Enterthe timein whichyouwould likethe air
conditionerto beginoperating, andyouwill thenbe abletoprogram thetime
atwhich youwant theunitto goback intostandbymode (rangingfrom halfan
hourto 12hours, inhalfhour increments). Youcan alsoexitthe timer
functionat thattime (Note:Whilein theset timeframe,the airconditioner will
displaya countdownof theremainingtime untilthe nextmodeis initiated).
To adjustthe airflow,if youwouldlike tohave theairflowoscillated fromthe
ceilingto thefloor, pressthe "Oscillation"buttonon theremote control. Right
toleft airflowcan thenbeset bymanually adjustingthelouvers.
PleaseNote:
Whenturning offtheunit, VFDindicators willappear"Off" untilthesweep
shutsdown.

1.Open thebattery compartment by slidingdown the batterycover
panel.
2.Remove anddiscard old batteries replacewith new batteries
3.
Replace thebattery panel back ontothe remote.
PleaseNote:
1.Thepolarityof thebatteries mustmatchthe indicatorinthe remotecontrol.
2.Donotmix oldand newbatteriesin theremote control.
3.Toprevent corrosion,remove thebatteriesif theremote controlwillnot beused
foran extendedperiod oftime.

WhentheACP-1300E isinoperation, thecondensed waterwillbe drainedinto
thewater tank. If thewatertank isfull, abuzzerwill sound20 times,andthe VFD
indicatorwill displayan "E2"errorwarning. At thattime,the unitwill cease
operation,and ifyou wishtorestart theunit, thewatertank mustbe emptiedby
takingthe followingsteps:
1.Turnoff theunit.
2.Remove therubber plug. The condensed waterwill then flow out.
3.After thewater is emptied, replacethe rubber plug.
4.Restart theunit.
