• Is the microphone adjusted properly? It should be two finger widths from the
mouth, slightly to the side. The “Talk” label on the microphone should be pointed
towards the mouth.
• Is there condensation or freezing on the microphone foam? If so, replace the foam
on the microphone.
Problem with Multiple Users
In this case, the problem is most likely with the network backbone or the application server.
Network Troubleshooting
• Verify the SSID and WEP keys (if used) for the access points match the settings on
the HX1.
• Perform normal diagnostic procedures on the RF network. Refer to the
documentation for your network devices.
Application Troubleshooting
• Please refer to the documentation for your voice application.
Problems with RF Connection
Specific problems with the radio card.
• Cisco ACU says “350 Series Radio is Not Associated” – In this case, the SSID is
incorrect or out of range.
• Cisco ACU says “350 Series Radio is Associated”, but does not switch to “350
Series Radio is Authenticated” – In this case, look for a problem with the AP or the
RADIUS server.
• User is prompted for login credentials when using LEAP or LEAP (WPA) – Cancel
the dialog box and enter the correct user name, password and domain (if required) in
the profile properties. They are not saved when entered in the login prompt screen.
