Status and error messages
This section describes the meaning of messages displayed on the LCD screen.
The table below describes the status messages.
The table below contains error messages, a brief description of each message and suggestions for
correcting the problem.
Message Description
Cancel The print job is canceled.
Charging ink The printer is charging the ink.
Cleaning The printer is cleaning the print head.
Please wait The printer is starting.
The printer is initializing the settings.
Printing The printer is processing data.
Ready The printer is ready to print.
Power save The printer is in the power save mode.
Power off The printer is shutting down.
Message Problem Solutions
Service call see guide Service call error occurs. Turn off the printer and then back on. If
the error does not clear, contact Epson
Service Center.

Printer near end of service
life
Parts inside the printer are at the end of
their service life.
Contact Epson Service Center to
replace them.
