Port security cannot be enabled on a port if multiple hosts mode is disabled, or if
multiple hosts with authentication per host mode is enabled.
It is recommended to enable reauthentication when working in ‘multiple sessions
(multiple-hosts authentication)’, in order to detect ‘user logout’ for users who have
not yet sent ‘logoff’.
Example
The following command enables multiple hosts (clients) on an 802.1x-authorized
port.
Console(config)# interface ethernet e16
Console(config-if)# dot1x multiple-hosts
dot1x radius-attributes vlan
Use the dot1x radius-attributes vlan interface configuration command, to enable
user-based VLAN assignment. Use the no form of this command to disable user-
based VLAN assignment.
Syntax
dot1x radius-attributes vlan
no dot1x radius-attributes vlan
Parameters
This command has no arguments or keywords.
Default Configuration
Disabled.
