Ifprintedimagesareaffectedbybandingindifferentcolors,adjusttheamountthatpaperisfed.Thereare
twomodesforadjustingtheamountpaperisfed,StandardAdj.andAdvancedAdj.UseAdvanced
Adj.ifStandardAdj.doesnoteliminatestreaks,orwhenusingpaperotherthangenuineCanonpaperor
paperforpurposesotherthancheckingoutput.Whenusinghighlytransparentmedianotcompatiblewith
automaticadjustment,youmustadjustthefeedamountmanually.Forinstructionsonmanualadjustment,see

•Toadjustthemeasurementscaleandensureaccuracy(sothatlinesinCADdrawingsareprinted
atexactlytherightlength,forexample),specifytheamountofpaperstretchingorshrinkagewhen
adjustingthefeedamount.(→P.661)
•Thismaytakesometime,dependingonthetypeofpaper.

•Usepaperofthesametypeandsizeforadjustmentasyouwilluseforprinting.
•Toapplytheresultsofadjustingthefeedamountinprinting,youmustrstsetFeedPrioritytoBand
