AfterselectingtheprinterinChooserfromtheApplemenu,printbyusingmenusintheapplicationsoftware.

Important

•Werecommendexitingunnecessaryapplicationsbeforeprinting.Runningseveralapplicationswhile

printingmayinterruptthetransferofprintdataandaffectprintingquality.

Selectingtheprinter

Beforeprinting,youmustconrmthattheprinterisselectedinChooser.

Important

•Duringthissetupprocess,theprinterwillnotbelistedinChooserifitisoffordisconnected.

•Byfactorydefault,theAppleTalkprotocolisdisabledontheprinter.YoumustenabletheAppleTalk

protocolbeforeusingtheprinterinAppleTalknetwork.ForinstructionsonactivatingAppleTalkprotocol,

•InChooser,chooseGAROPrinterDriver.

•InDestination,chooseUSBiftheprinterisconnectedviaUSB,FireWireifconnectedviaIEEE1394,

orAppleTalk,IPPrint,orIPPrint(Auto)ifconnectedvianetwork.

•IftheprinterisconnectedviaAppleTalk,clickActiveunderAppleTalkinthelower-rightcornerof

theChooserwindow.

•IftheprinterisconnectedviaIPPrint,clickRegisteringIPAddressundertheDestinationlistto

registertheprinter’sIPaddress,andthenclickIPPrint.
